With all level of football quickly getting closer to starting, it was time to see more recruiting updates and where Notre Dame’s commits landed.
The Irish have one of the top classes in the country, and with the updated Rivals250 rankings, it just solidified that notion. The new list features a total of 10 Irish commitments, half of them landing inside top-100.
There were also some risers and fallers among the Notre Dame commits, along with two new verbals making the cut. Find out below where each Irish pledge landed on Rivals update rankings starting with the lowest one.
No. 247 Safety Jadon Blair
Blair makes his debut in the rankings, just making the cut. The North Carolina safety fits the mold that Notre Dame is looking for at the position: big, long and rangy.
No. 245 Tight end James Flanigan
The second debut for the Irish is its tight end Flanigan. The Wisconsin native also has elite size for the position and should be a solid player for Notre Dame.
No. 241 Cornerback Mark Zackery
The in-state defender is a bit on the light side at 160-pounds, but his skill level is quite high. He moved up five spots since the last update.
No. 233 Offensive lineman Matty Augustine
Connecticut doesn’t get much love as a high school football power, but each year they produce a few high-level prospects. Augustine falls into that group, but did drop 10 spots in this reranking.
No. 101 Offensive lineman Owen Strebig
Once firmly inside the top-100, Strebig dropped 37 spots and landed just outside. He’s still considered an elite prospect, and should excel in South Bend.
No. 100 Linebacker Anthony Sacca
Sacca didn’t fall as much as Strebig did, but it was a 28 spot difference since the last update. Regardless, the Irish have one of the top linebacker prospects in the country.
No. 71 Cornerback Dallas Golden
The biggest riser for the Irish, Golden took a massive leap of 83 spots. It wasn’t the biggest jump, but still an impressive one for one of the top corners in the nation.
No. 49 Offensive tackle Will Black
It’s wild to say that Black is still underrated even being a top-50 prospect, but here we are. He jumped 13 spots since the last rankings, but don’t expect him to plateau. Black should be inside the top-25 when it’s all said-and-done.
No. 41 Edge Chris Burgess Jr.
A slight drop of 4 spots for Burgess, he’s still considered one of the top pass rushers in the country. Honestly, I think this is exactly the range he should be ranked.
No. 32 Quarterback Deuce Knight
Knight is still committed to the Irish, despite multiple rumors of him flipping to different programs. He’s the top rated commit in an impressive Notre Dame 2025 class.
